Selecting your florals for your wedding is an important part of your planning journey as it is an immediate visual component. If you sit and truly think about it there are so many roles that florals have within your wedding, they create a fragrant environment, they spark different emotions and exude a different feeling for each person. Florals are also present everywhere at your wedding they are within your bouquet, boutonnieres, ceremony florals (isle florals) and reception florals (centrepieces) we could go on forever! They are a massive part of your styling, décor and how you create a vibe and mood for your wedding, so the process of selecting suddenly becomes that much more important. Especially when not all florals and colours are available all year round (shocking I know!). So we decided to make your floral decision super easy and outline what florals are blooming in what seasons.

Winter Florals

As the days get darker and the air outside gets cooler, the darker hues and rich vibrant colours start to make more of an appearance within the florals blooming during winter, alongside those favoured crisp white florals.  However, that doesn’t completely diminish the soft delicate florals in dusty pinks and oranges, it just means that they may be harder to find and there are fewer choices (opting for faux florals may be your best choice if your heart is set on having spring or summer like florals).

The most popular choices for florals during the winter wedding season are Blushing Bride, Singapore Orchids, Sweet Peas, Camellias, Anemones & Ranunculus.

Pair your summer arrangements with different elements of foliage such as monster leaves, palm fronds, ferns, philodendrons and banana leaves to completely lean into the summer season and emanate a tropical vibe.
